The words “beer tasting” and “opera” don’t find themselves together very often. But when they do, it’s a super good time. Especially when the Dallas Opera’s doing the opera-ing and The Londoner’s doing the beer-ing. From 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, the Dallas opera hosts a beer tasting at The Londoner (2909 Thomas Ave.) as part of its Baritones & Beachballs series to celebrate the opening of Donizetti’s Anna Bolena (the classic tale of an old queen being beheaded by her husband so he can bonk some new hotness with bigger honkers). Tickets are $20. Call 214-443-1014 or visit dallasopera.org.

Sun., July 18, 4-6 p.m., 2010
