Most ladies nights aren’t lady-centric. They don’t promote bonding, betterment or an inner glow that stems from learning new things. Instead, they’re man magnets, designed to alert fellas that drunk chicks will soon pass out at a bar near them. That changes on Friday at Show Me How You Burlesque, an evening that drops ladies into a burlesque dance class, then encourages a solid-food dinner, proceeds to drive the whole gaggle on a party bus to a live burlesque show, then wraps in cocktails at Blue Martini. It’s being put together by Paint the Town Red productions, and you get the whole evening of shero empowerment for 68 bucks. It starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m., kicking off at the Dallas School of Burlesque, at 2924 Main St. Visit pttrvipparties.com.
