Nature and a good book: If you’ve got those, you’ve got everything. Such fundamentals are the basis of Talley Dunn’s newest, Natasha Bowdoin: In the Garden, which opens from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Bowdoin has two new projects to flaunt: Book of Nature, which interprets Emerson’s writings through cut paper and hand-written text, and Flowers for Henry, a look at self-taught artist Henry Darger by way of Bowdoin’s morphing flowers — which serve as tributes to Darger’s early watercolors. Talley Dunn is located at 5020 Tracy St., and is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This show and the coordinating group show Back Room run until September 7. Visit talleydunn.com.
