Summertime is great, but it can be monotonous. Lay out by the pool, drink margaritas, repeat. If you want to infuse a little artistic flair into your routine, start by adding a little Sizzle. William Campbell Contemporary Art presents a rotating group exhibition, featuring more than 25 highly talented artists. A few of the names you may recognize–like Benito Huerta, who first exhibited his monotype series, Zuma, a collection of collaged elements sprinkled with real gold dust. Or Stephen Daly, whose “drawn sculptures” occupy a space between the second and third dimensions. Other names are brand new to the gallery–and this is the perfect time to get a preview of their work. The exhibition includes paintings, photography, wall reliefs and sculptural ceramics. Come Sizzle at the gallery through September 4.
