For too long, museums have separated art from science. But who has not gazed upon the structure of a T-Rex and seen beauty? But for one evening, natural history and the arts will unite in a lecture called Art Treasures of Natural History: Connoisseurship and Preservation. The accompanying exhibit features the artwork of 18th- and 19th-century natural historians illustrating their discoveries. The lecture is 6 p.m. Thursday at Preservation Dallas’ headquarters, 2922 Swiss Ave. Admission is $10 to $15. Call 214-821-3290.
