Did you ever read that Flowers in the Attic book? It’s creepy. Locking your kids in the attic I understand (kids are annoying and stinky), but the incest part of that book always made me cringe. Maybe it was that I could never ever picture making out with one of my disgusting asshole siblings. Maybe it was my general fear of commitment. Or maybe it was that the book came to me highlighted and highly recommended from my fourth-grade librarian. I don’t know exactly what it is that makes me get all icked out by that book, but I get the same feeling from the exhibit Stories From the Attic: 65 Years of Treasures. Probably just because it has the word “attic” in it. But maybe you like old attic-y stuff (weirdo). If you do, check out the exhibit 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1501 Montgomery St. in Fort Worth. The museum will be dusting off all kinds of old exhibits and artifacts for the occasion, like the fighting dinosaurs, the transparent woman and a mammoth tusk.
