$10,000

Do you have kids who just can’t keep themselves from yelling advice, cheering or booing at the characters when you go to the movies, no matter how much the other patrons shush them or give them the stink-eye? Then you probably think there’s no chance they could handle live theater. And in most cases, that’s true; except for shows in the British panto style, a comedic school of theater that encourages hearty booing of villains, assistance for the hero and other audience participation. In Theatre Britain’s performance of Babes in the Wood, Robin Hood and his Merry Men will need audience help to stop Baron Von Nasty-Chap from stealing Babe’s inheritance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 Avenue H in Plano. Tickets are $8 to $18. Call 972-490-4202 or visit theatre-britain.com.
