If you’re the type of person who wakes up early every Wednesday to pick up your comic book subscriptions and you’ve trolled through every shop in town locating your old favorites, then this weekend there’s only one place to be — at the Awesome Comic Book Collector Show. This comic book show and market is loaded with dealers and collectors hawking their wares, so grab your excess stash and a pile of cash so that you can buy, sell and trade books and memorabilia with your illustration-loving compatriots. There will also be local small-press artists, writers and publishers on site for the homegrown fans, so check out the show this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Dallas/Richardson, 1981 N.
