The upscale Mexican restaurant is once more hosting Julia Alcantara’s renowned dance troupe Ida y Vuelta, which specializes in that brand of Spanish folk music and dance from southern Spain. The event is being billed as “A Night in Spain,” and the intimate vibe and bright flavors at the Veracruz-style Mexican restaurant should be perfect complements, making for an excellent date night. Beyoncé and Jay-Z dined at Mesa (118 W Jefferson Boulevard.) last summer, so you and your dining partner will be in good company. Cover is $10 at the door. Call 214-941-4246 for reservations.
