Have you ever head the phrase “Everything is bigger in Texas”? From the food portions to the parties, to the thick pageant hair, it’s a fairly accurate Texan stereotype. Well, Contemporary Ballet Dallas is no exception to the rule. Join the company in celebrating the opening of its 10th season with Wild & Free, an artistic collaboration dedicated to the spirit of Texans everywhere. Enjoy works set to music by Imogen Heap, Pat Green and Grammy winner Norah Jones. The show stars guest choreographer Michael Mayes as well as contemporary Texas artists Jill S. Rucci, Valerie Tabor, Lindsay Bowman, Jennifer Obeney, Victoria Dolph and DekaDance. This ain’t no ordinary ballet, partner, this is some big celebration.
