Independent Journalism in Dallas Needs You
We need to raise $12,500 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Aww nuts. Here I was thinking Vodka and Kisses was going to be a sordid after party of endless booze and anonymous sex but no, it’s a play. Two chicks are total best friends forever until a man enters the picture and the inevitable kick to the curb comes to one of the buddies. Been there, done that, and trust me, that curb is no fun. Much like I would do, the tossed aside friend stirs things up, makes self-discoveries and begins to get chummy with a new friend named Vodka. A spiral of self-loathing follows with a disdain for all humanity and…oh, back to the play. Local theater darling Mark-Brian Sonna directs Vodka and Kisses at the Stone Cottage Theater, 15650 Addison Road, Thursday through August 25. Tickets are $16 to $21. For tickets and showtimes call 214-477-4942 or visit mark-briansonna.com.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 18, 2:30 p.m. Starts: Aug. 9. Continues through Aug. 25
