Walking the streets of Dallas, we can’t help but see so many tragic faces. We imagine the heart-wrenching stories behind them as those we pass look to us for hope. How sad that there are so many people in need of something so simple: wine edification. Thank God, then, for Dallas Uncorked, a nonprofit organization dedicated to righting that most heinous of wrongs: a lack of knowledge about wine. But you can do your part to help at the TexiCali boutique wine tasting Tuesday at Kitchen 1924, 1924 Abrams Parkway. A mere $37 gets you appetizers and a lesson in premium vintage starting at 6:30 p.m. Call 214-821-1924.
Tue., Aug. 8, 6:30 p.m.
