Do you want the good news or the bad news first? The good news a new reality show centering on the ladies of Dallas was recently picked up. Its working title is Ladies of Dallas because duh. The bad news is Bravo will show it. Bravo brought you all of The Real Housewives series, so there’s a 100 percent chance you will begin to hate Dallas after watching the show.
And that’s pretty much it. Bravo offered up this description: “From glamorous galas to scintillating scandals and supersized spending habits, life in the elite tier of the Dallas social scene is hard to crack, and even harder to maintain. Whether driven by vanity, personal validation or career advancement, these Lone Star ladies all share the same goal — to climb the social ladder and stay on top.”
A representative could not tell us who will be cast or when filming will begin. However we do know, by two different sources, that there were film crews at a recent No Tie Dinner and Dessert Party, a fundraiser for AIDS Services of Dallas.
We don’t know who exactly they were filming, however. A quick Twitter search hints that LeeAnne Locken, a local TV personality, could be a subject.

Courtney Kerr’s name also has been tossed around. An email to Kerr’s publicist went unanswered. Locken retweeted this tweet, so take that as you will.
That’s all we can offer you right now. It’s a show about Dallas ladies, so we’re sure margaritas and Neiman Marcus and big hair will be involved.
