Do you like your mom? Do you enjoy putting things in their proper place? Then boy, is there a perfect Mother’s Day event for you! From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, folks at Texas Discovery Gardens, 3601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, will celebrate all things mom by releasing butterflies into the butterfly house. Advance purchase is required in order to participate, and for $15, you too can release a butterfly. 15 bucks for something that’s about to fly away? Yes, but first of all, these are butterflies we’re talking about, and second, not to worry: That price includes admission to the butterfly house. So, basically, your Mother’s Day is set.
