It has been speculated that Neil Hamburger was first brought to popular attention when the comedian’s body was discovered frozen in an Atlantic City dumpster. He was, of course, thawed and wrung-out, then rapidly educated in the last 40 years of pop culture. But Hamburger has little love for these modern celebrities and roasts them accordingly in his live acts. He’s a sight, and to see a Hamburger show is to witness one of the strangest personas working the comic scene today. With his rumpled, out-of-date suit and phlegm-hacking pauses you might think he’s confused this gig for the Rosenblatts’ bar mitzvah happening across town, but no, we assure you, Hamburger is here entirely for your amusement. Not only that, but tonight you’ll get a double-serving of eccentricity when Tim Heidecker (of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!) splits the spotlight. There’s more support by The Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser Yo-Yo Extravaganza and DJ Douggpound. The whole thing kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Texas Theatre (231 W.
