Viva Dallas Burlesque, the largest burlesque show in the Lone Star State, brings the latest installment of its monthly spinoff series Cirque du Burlesque Friday at Lakewood Theater (1825 Abrams Road). Jump-start your weekend and your lackluster fantasies with this ultimate adult-themed circus, which includes hoopers, sideshow acts, award-winning aerial performance artists and, of course, legendary burlesque dancers. No smelly animals or terrifying clowns at this circus. Only sultry, scantily clad and freakishly limber ladies ready to blow your mind. Tickets cost $20. Doors open at 8 p.m.; the naughty Big Top drops curtain at 9. Must be 18 or older to attend.
