Keep Dallas Observer Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures Dallas Observer can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday, bring your snooty nostrils and your uppity taste buds to WineFest at the Addison Conference Center, 15650 Addison Road, benefiting The 500 Inc. (a volunteer group that supports local arts organizations). There’ll be lots of wine and food from Blue Mesa, Clay Pit, The Mozzarella Company, Paciugo and tons of other Dallas drive-thruless restaurants, and in between mahogany bouquets and fajita bites they’re having a silent auction. Advance tickets cost you $30. At the door, it’ll be $35. Oh, and here’s the drinking game we’re playing: Every time someone around you swirls their wine three or more times in a row, you chug. Call 214-565-0200 or visit winefest500.com.
