Want to see a string quartet without having to sit through another boring wedding? Then head to TCU for the annual Mimir Chamber Music Festival, where world-renowned classical musicians such as pianist John Novacek and violinist Nathan Cole will spend their days teaching students the nuances of chamber music while performing faculty concerts at night. The festival starts Thursday and runs through July 14, with programs spotlighting pieces by Beethoven, Mozart, Bartok, Haydn and many more. All performances take place in TCU’s PepsiCo Recital Hall, 2800 S. University Drive in Fort Worth. Tickets are $20, $15 for seniors and students.
