$10,000

Remember when certain fruits and veggies weren’t available year round? When Mom handed you–sitting top dog in the grocery cart–produce she was so excited to see, and later, the fam would be so excited it was (insert random squash or seafood, perhaps) time? That was back when we honored seasonal ingredients and didn’t try to ship in southern equatorial fare. We waited. We built culinary suspense. Roy’s, 2840 Dallas Parkway in Plano, is celebrating the season with a special winter prix fixe menu. Through March 31, choose components in three courses for a winter meal with local ingredients revving up Roy’s patented Hawaiian fusion. Price is $35 per person, tax and gratuity additional. Call 972-473-6263 or visit roysrestaurant.com for reservations.
