Tito Muñoz is a hot young conductor from New York who is known for his work with Ensemble LPR, a group that takes classical music out of the concert hall and into the club. On Friday, Muñoz will join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as guest conductor for ReMix, the symphony’s own attempt at a more laid-back, boozy night of music. If you’ve ever felt intimidated by the stuffy vibe of a symphony concert, this is a great chance to experience live orchestral music in an intimate and relaxed environment. The concert takes place at City Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St., and features the irresistible Latin rhythms of Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.” The concert starts at 7 p.m., but you can arrive at 6 for an open-to-the-public dance.
