La Duni Latin Cafe (4620 McKinney Ave.) is hosting a Mojito Class from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The hands-on class features bar chef Ivan Rimach demonstrating three methods of the cocktail–one shaken, one hand-muddled and one involving fire. You can also take a break from all the muddling to nibble on food bites provided by La Duni. The class is $18 in advance, or $22 if you’d rather just show up at the last minute. For more info, call 214-520-7300. This event makes us wonder why all classes can’t involve alcohol. It would make life a lot easier… or drunker.
