What’s better than the intimacy of chamber music in a small, acoustically alive space? If the spot in question is the new Dallas City Performance Hall (2520 Flora St.), the answer is nothing. At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Dallas Chamber Symphony continues its impressively diverse and limited season of concerts with a night featuring the Wyeth Quartet. The group, led by Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Michael Shih, offers a mix of standard classical fare (Beethoven and Schumann) as well as some evocative and mystical contemporary music. “Visions and Miracles,” composed by Dallas native Christopher Theofanidis, will give audiences a chance to experience modern music in the hands of four string players. Tickets range from $15 to $29 and can be purchased at dallaschambersymphony.org or by calling 214-880-0202. Student rush tickets are available before the concert for $12 with valid ID.
