Etsy is seriously one of the best things to ever come out of the Internet. I mean, I don’t want to start a big argument about whether a Husky’s auto-tuned singing voice is better than a cat jumping on a surprised baby, but buying other people’s handmade items on a web site is 100 percent awesome. And perhaps even more awesome is the fact that the local crafters of Etsy Dallas are throwing the third annual Jingle Bash Saturday at the Palladium’s Lone Star Room, 1135 South Lamar St. From 2 to 8 p.m. you can shop ’til you drop from a huge selection of handmade items, grab a drink at one of two full bars, do a few DIY crafts, boogie to DJ John Durbin’s tunes, strike a pose in the photo booth or chow down at the on-site Studio Bar & Grill. Admission is free! For details, visit handmadebash.com.

Sat., Nov. 20, 2-8 p.m., 2010
