If I had a friend that ever acted like my pets act, I’d give that friend a good talking to, followed swiftly by a good face slapping. I’ve never had a friend pee on my carpet just because he was stressed. No friend of mine has told me he liked my furniture by scratching it or rubbing his butt on it. Friends don’t call at 4 a.m. over and over again until you feed them. My cats are lame. I want new ones. So, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, I’m getting new pets at the All Pet Exposition at the Richardson Civic Center, 411 West Arapaho Road, and you should, too. They’ll have puppies, birds, reptiles, toys and supplies for sale. Tickets are $4 per person, kids 6 and under get in free. Call 214-244-0350.
