Staying committed to being in shape takes on a whole new meaning at Crull Fitness. From training rock-hard athletes to people with special needs, Coach Brian Crull, a former Mr. USA, is certain to inspire a new attitude. So get laced up for the Crull Fitness Summer Send-Off 5K run/walk and fun run. There will be first-place prizes for top male and female finishers in 13 different age groups as well as raffle prizes including gym memberships, personal training sessions, massage certificates and sponsor gifts. Race day registration starts at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The races start at 7:30 a.m on the Katy Trail at Reverchon Park. Registration for each event is $40. A portion of Summer Send-Off proceeds will benefit the George Johnson Cancer Fund. George Johnson, an employee of Ridgway’s in the Gensler Dallas office, was recently diagnosed with a cancer that attacks the plasma cells in bone marrow. The benefit comes with hopes of helping Johnson focus on recovery instead of medical expenses. For more information, call 214-821-0909 or visit crullfitness.com.
