A pioneering French designer, Coco was the founder of one of today’s most well-known fashion lines. With an extraordinary influence on haute couture, a term which refers to the sewing, designing and personal fitting of clothing made from expensive and high-quality fabrics, Coco was the only person from the fashion industry to be voted as one of TIME Magazine‘s 100 most influential people of the 20th century.
