People around the world suffered a certain kind of heartbreak Sunday night when news broke that music legend David Bowie died. He made the alien in all of us feel a little more at home during our time on planet earth. He left this place more colorful than when he arrived. Artists have been quick to pay tribute to the legendary shape shifter with music, poetry, tattoos, and, in the case of Dallas’ Brian Gibb, T-shirts.
In response to Bowie’s passing, he created this image for a T-shirt. He’ll be selling a limited run of this shirt on the website of his gallery, The Public Trust, and will donate a portion of the proceeds to amfAR, in honor of Bowie’s passion for discovering a cure for AIDS. T-shirts are $23.
