I like Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. And, no, not just because Alice is my first name. I mean, I have a special hate for that Brady Bunch Alice, and I can barely stand the girl in “Alice’s Restaurant”—what a prude. I don’t know what it is about Alice from Alice in Wonderland that’s so likable. It’s probably the pinafore. At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, you can’t see Alice in Wonderland, but you can see Alicia in Wonder Tierra (Or I Can’t Eat Goat Head) at the Dallas Children’s Theater on 5938 Skillman St. For something that’s a spinoff, I think it has a pretty super name. I bet Lewis is all, “Aw, damn. I can’t believe I left out ‘goat head’ in my title. How did I not think of getting ‘goat head’ in there? I heart goat head.” Tickets will cost you a measly $5. Which is nothing. You usually have to pay a lot more to see goat head onstage. Like at least $15. Call 214-740-0051 or visit dct.org.
