SYTYCD? is coming to town this Wednesday!! Ohmahgady’all!! No, SYTYCD? isn’t an acronym for a sexually transmitted disease, it’s So You Think You Can Dance?! 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the live tour of So You Think You Can Dance? hits Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie (1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie). The live performance features a bunch of finalists from the TV show including (but not limited to) Ashley, Billy, Adechike (This kid must be able to dance. With a name that funky, you’re destined to be a stripper. Whoops, we mean a dancer), Ade (short for Gatorade?) and last season’s winner, Russell. They’ll perform “their hottest routines in hip hop, contemporary, ballroom, tango, broadway, salsa and more” while a buncha tweens lose their freaking minds. The reviews say the show lasts about three hours, so buckle up. Probably a good idea to bring your earplugs. And your eyeplugs. Tickets are $37.50 to $55, depending on how close you want to get to Adechike Adechike-ing. Call 800-745-3000 or visit verizontheatre.com.
