Let’s face it: all those Pinterest projects you thought you were going to turn into twee little Christmas gifts are not going to happen at this point. Your house is buried in craft supplies, you’re super stressed, and you need a drink. Also, you probably need to do some last-minute shopping. In the interest of time management, perhaps you should combine these two things at the Deep Ellum Wine Walk at 5 p.m. Thursday. Stop in at any of the participating merchants in Deep Ellum, including Life of Riley, Lula Bee’s, The Rag Parlor, Unbranded, and more to kick your evening off with a $5 holiday edition commemorative wine glass. Then flit between shops, refilling with wine samplings and checking gifts off your list as you go. Don’t you feel better already? Added bonus: pick up a passport card with your wine glass. If you check off five or more Deep Ellum destinations, you’ll be entered to win one of several prizes.
