If you want to know what Diavolo is, imagine the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil, the grittiness of Stomp, sets that move and, apparently, dramatic music with a man shouting in Spanish. There also appears to be an oversize seesaw, a human gerbil wheel and something I’m calling People Plinko. Yes, like the game from The Price Is Right. Oh, like you don’t watch it. Seriously, though, these performers are clearly superhumans. The strength required to pull off any of these gymnastic moves is more than anyone should be capable of. And if you’ve ever tried a push-up, you know what I’m talking about. Diavolo is playing at AT&T Performing Arts Center, Wyly Theater, at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $19. Ticket purchasing and more info located at the glorious tickets.attpac.org.
