If you attended Artopia, you’ve already peered into the crazy mind of Danielle Georgiou. But the women in blue lipstick and graceful, contorted bodies were just the beginning. Her newest show, Dirty Filthy Diamonds, takes over the Margo Jones Theatre in Fair Park at 8 p.m. Wednesday with a perversely honest portrait of humanity. The immersive dance show mingles theater with modern choreography thanks to a script by Justin Locklear and music by Jermy Elizabeth Johnson. In the vein of previous shows by her dance group, Diamonds features Georgiou’s wild choreography, which is sure to take on a life of its own. Performances at the Margo Jones Theatre, 1121 1st Ave., run through March 8 and tickets are available through eventbrite.com for $10.
Mondays, Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Feb. 26. Continues through March 8, 2014
