When it comes to dead presidents, it’s not always all about the Benjamins—or even the Grants or the Jacksons. And for once around here, it’s not about Kennedy. Larry L. King’s The Dead Presidents’ Club pits four U.S. presidents—Nixon, Coolidge, Johnson and Truman—against a committee of saints, who are deciding whether these four former leaders of the free world should be allowed past the pearly gates. As men who are not used to being kept waiting, Cal, Dick, Harry and LBJ hatch a scheme to cut through the heavenly red tape. See the ultimate “divine comedy-fantasy” at Circle Theatre, 230 W. Fourth St. in Fort Worth, beginning 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $18 to $28 with a $5 discount for students and seniors. Call 817-877-3040.
Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 3 p.m. Starts: Aug. 3. Continues through Oct. 7
