We’re not usually keen on pampering our pets since we don’t dress them up or spoil them homemade, organic meals like Tara on Most Eligible Dallas. But we don’t mind treating Fido to an afternoon of fun at the Wags & Waves pool party. The pool party is open to pooches, so share a raft with your dog on the lazy river or have a paddling contest in the wave pool. There are also prizes for the “clever canine” and best-dressed dog, along with live music, vendors and food. Get unleashed at Hawaiian Falls Waterpark, 4550 N. Garland Road in Garland, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $20 at the door or online at wagsandwaves.org.
