Why hear one classical pianist whip his fingers into a fury when you can hear two sets of hands tackle the ivories together? At 7:30 p.m. Monday, the Dallas Chamber Music Society presents acclaimed pianists Daniil Trifonov and Sergei Babayan in a concert at Dallas City Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St. The two pianists will kick off the night with Mozart’s “Sonata in D Major for Four-Hands” before launching into heftier romantic fare by Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff. The concert is part of a special gala event, which, if you purchase tickets at the sponsor level, also includes a Champagne reception, private three-course dinner and post-piano Russian dessert and vodka tasting with the artists. All together, this event is a great opportunity to hear two of the world’s best pianists side by side while supporting a great local organization and seriously upping your Monday night game. Tickets range from $65 to $125. For more information, visit
