I don’t want to feed you a line or anything, but simply speaking, much of art is rooted in that little straight (or curvy) path from one point to another. Even a painting that is nothing but the color blue relates to the linear relationship it has with its canvas. What a line, right? Line art is as pure or as complicated as the artist chooses–playing to relative space, realistic detail or texture (through pattern or actual mediums). Three local artists are in the right line of art, so to speak, given the Linear Harmony exhibition at mod.shop gallery, 5840 Alpha Road, No. B. Works by Corbey Bunn, Todd Camplin, Mariko Frost and Timothy Harding are featured 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through September 24. Call 214-604-6362 or visit modshopinc.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Sept. 16. Continues through Sept. 24, 2009
