Like Fred and Ginger, Laurel and Hardy, and chocolate and peanut butter, great pairs make the world spin. So when we heard that The Ochre House and the 2013 Dallas Flamenco Festival were teaming up for something special, we knew that the outcome would be truly awesome. And awesome it is. Written and directed by none other than Matthew Posey, El Conde Drácula is this love child — an original show that’s putting a Latin twist on the story of the legendary vampire. Featuring original music and world-class choreography, this special collaboration stars flamenco dancers Antonio Arrebola and Delilah Buitron (aka Delilah Muse, one of this year’s Dallas Observer Mastermind winners) as the Count and his dancing bride. The limited engagement run of El Conde Drácula opens at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Ochre House Theater, 825 Exposition Ave. Additional performances run through Friday. Tickets are $25.
