$10,000

Looking for some snakeweed, a pink skullcap, small leaf pussy toes, a red hot poker or fire bush? Well, you can find them at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary this weekend during the Annual Spring Native Plant Sale. (Yes, they’re all plants. Sheesh, get your minds out of the gutter.) Or, if you just dig on gladiola, jasmine and more common finds, the Heard has those too, along with rare and heirloom plants, artisan-made ceramics for sale and ceramic demonstrations (Saturday and Sunday only). Heard members get a sneak peek Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. (non-members may purchase memberships at this event), and the general public may attend 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Visit heardmuseum.org.
