The French are a cruel, heartless people—just look at how they ruthlessly withhold man’s right to put ketchup on his filet mignon. The Southern Methodist University French Club is continuing the tradition with the latest showing in their French film festival: Qui A Tue Bambi? It translates to “Who Killed Bambi?,” and if that’s not the most nefarious of movie titles, I don’t know what is. Luckily it’s not about offing helpless deer; it’s an erotic thriller about a hot nursing student who falls for a questionably sane doctor. The film plays at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center, 3140 Dyer St. Admission is free. Visit http://fllc.smu.edu/frenchfilmfest.

Tue., April 11, 7 p.m.
