Artists have been bending metal into art for thousands of years, and they’re still at it. Through December 23, the University of North Texas School of Visual Arts will hold an exhibit of some of the best metal art that has come through the school in the last 30 years. Polished, which is free, will be held at the UNT artspace FW at the UNT Health Science Center, 3400 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth. Everything from jewelry, sculpture and wall-based works—all made by UNT faculty and alumni—will be on display. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Call 817-735-0205.
Nov. 20-Dec. 23
