Dallas Mavericks Coach Avery Johnson tells us in his new book, Aspire Higher: Winning On and Off the Court with Determination, Discipline, and Decisions. Johnson’s success as a point guard and head coach in the NBA embodies the American dream. Johnson did not have the luxuries of height, strength or quickness which most other NBA players take for granted.
