In its tenth year, Muscle Memory Dance Theatre is ready to try something new. With this show, director Lesley Snelson is turning the reins over to two unknown artists to the Dallas dance scene and letting them run wild with her company. “Wrapped and Uncovered: An Evening of Dance Unraveling and Unveiling,” welcomes choreographers Megan Odom, from the University of Colorado Boulder, and Randee Paufve, from Oakland, California. Odom’s work employs bubble wrap to examine how we isolate and insulate ourselves. Paufve’s explores the paradoxical nature of love and desire. These are both pretty heady subjects, but if you get lost, don’t worry, there’s bound to be some student in the audience who will be ready to deconstruct the modern dance narrative for you. See it at 8 p.m. Saturday or 5 p.m. Sunday at Life in Deep Ellum, 2803 Taylor St., Dallas. $12-$15. More information at musclememorydancetheatre.org.

Sat., Nov. 1, 8 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 2, 5 p.m., 2014
