The greatest things in life are free. But they go very well with a $15 trip to the movies and a $5 beverage. The new show at the Magnolia Gallery, Incidental Insider, is a perfect alternative to fifteen minutes of previews, or an immediate rush back to the car afterward. Sally Glass, an up-and-coming photographer, recently spent ten months in Israel and has the photos to prove it. She documents her experience as both a foreigner and an artist in one of the most ancient and widely contentious places on Earth. The gallery is located in the upstairs bar in the Magnolia Theater on McKinney Ave. and free for all! So don’t buy a ticket if you don’t feel like it. Incidental Insider is open during regular theater hours, and closes on August 4. For more information, visit magnoliagallerydallas.com.
