Just because the kids get a Thanksgiving vacation doesn’t always mean moms and dads aren’t still stuck in the office. Sure, you can send the kids to granny’s house or off to daycare, but that probably wouldn’t be as exciting as a holiday camp at Oil and Canvas. With art classes ranging from painting pets on canvas to creating a quilt block collage, kids ages four to 12 can enjoy a few days taking on new creative adventures. The art camps will last from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oil and Cotton, 837 W. 7th St. Classes are $40.
