We’re a month out from Halloween and we just blazed through Thanksgiving so you know what that means — it’s time FOR ALL THE CHRISTMAS THINGS. Well, according to KLUV and every retailer ever, it’s been time, but now it’s like REALLY time. And there’s no better way to kick things off than with A Christmas Story. The classic, quoted and seriously beloved movie is now a musical and Dallas Summer Musicals is going to belt it out just for you. No word yet on whether or not they’re aware its winter. All your favorites will be there — Ralphie, The Old Man, the Red Ryder, that dipstick’s tongue and, of course, the leg lamp. Get in the spirit hardcore before TBS corrupts you with a 24-hour marathon. Shows run daily from Tuesday, December 2, to Sunday, December 14at Music Hall at Fair Park, 909 First Ave. Tickets start at $25 and are available at dallassummermusical.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 1:30 p.m. Starts: Dec. 2. Continues through Dec. 14, 2014
