“Life without Jesus is like a doughnut,” says Rob Evans—aka The Donut Man—”’cause there’s a hole in the middle of your heart.” The Donut Man brings his Jesus-themed show for kids to The Heights Baptist Church Sunday for a “Happy Birthday, Jesus” party at 4 p.m. Evans is known for his interactive songs and stories that include jumping, clapping and lots of audience participation. Following the concert at the church, 201 W. Renner Road at U.S. 75 in Richardson, there will be a “Happy Birthday, Jesus” party in the atrium with balloons and doughnut holes. For admission, bring a non-perishable food item for local charities. Call 972-231-6047 or visit theheights.org.
