After this many years, it seems silly to describe how GayBINGO Dallas works again. We’ve frequently told you about the only bingo game in town in which a straight line won’t get you anywhere—arrangements vary by game and prizes go all the way up to $500 for playing in the GayBINGO spirit. You probably also know about the campy entertainment, from the BVDs (Bingo Verifying Divas) who roll around in skates to the theme costumes everyone wears (and this time, it’s Runway GayBINGO, so strike a pose). But what might be news to you is that the games have raised money for the Resource Center of Dallas for five years straight, so celebrate a good cause’s anniversary on Saturday at the Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams Parkway, at 6 p.m. Entry is $15.
