Is there such a thing as Kumar Pallana overload? Not for fans of movies like Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Terminal, each of which featured the quiet-yet-charismatic 87-year-old Indian actor. But locals know that Pallana is more than a guy with endearing bit parts in Wes Anderson movies; he’s also an entertainer, a storyteller and a longtime practitioner of yoga who could be found at Dallas’ yoga-loving Cosmic Café for years. If you’re all about Pallana overload, park your keister at Park Cities Yoga, 5757 W. Lovers Lane # 216, where he will teach yoga lessons at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Sunday (or meet him on Sunday at 4 p.m. for a free, non-yoga meet-and-greet). Also, catch a free, full-on Kumar performance–plate spinning, juggling, the works–on Monday at 8:30 p.m. at Cosmic Café, 2912 Oak Lawn Ave. Yoga lessons range from $20 to $45.
