You’ve spent months knitting the perfect Dr. Who scarf, and this weekend you’ll finally flex your cosplay prowess at Comic Con Sci-fi Expo. Running Saturday and Sunday, the fest returns to the Irving Convention Center (500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.) with a star-studded lineup, headlined by a Saturday visit from geek god and Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfuss (Close Encounters, Jaws). There’s a galaxy of other famouses on board, like a Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman pairing (Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner); Karl Urban, who played Bones on the J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot; and CW Green Arrow star Stephen Amell. There’s a Warehouse 13 reunion. A visit from the seventh doctor, Sylvester McCoy. A Peter Weller/Angie Bolling Robocop double-bill. Face time with Cylon-lover Aaron Douglas and a visit by everyone’s favorite local Wookiee, Peter Mayhew. Of course the sci-fi expo also culls those sought-after collectibles, comics and geek-out opportunities, so buy tickets at scifiexpo.com. General admission starts at $35 for Saturday and $25 for Sunday.
