This Tuesday and Wednesday, contemporary Christian singer Michael W. Smith teams up with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for a greatest hits set mixed with holiday standards. Keeping the artist in mind, these holiday tunes will be of the Jesus/manger/three wise men variety, with Santa, Frosty and the reindeer taking a back seat, if they even get mentioned at all. If you haven’t heard a Michael W. Smith song since his 1992 Top 10 hit “I Will Be Here For You,” then check out recent pictures on his Web site—doesn’t look like he’s aged a day. Must be all that clean Christian living. Michael W. Smith performs with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St. Tickets are $32 to $88.
